Results of 'Aging Monitor Netherlands 2009'
In January of this year, the province of Groningen participated in the Aging Monitor 2009. Over 1800 people from the public and private sector in the Netherlands response.
Companies and instution are questioned about the consequences of ageing. Some conclusions:
- short term thinking is widespread: the focus of employees is on the financial crisis instead of ageing
- the public sector is slow on taking measures for ageing
- knowledge transfer is seen as the most important problem of ageing
