The Regional Labour Market Conference in the Northern part of the Netherlands
As a consequence of an ageing and shrinking population, the labour market in the Northern part of the Netherlands will become under pressure. In particular the labour market in health care needs attention, because the ageing population causes an increasing demand for health care provision. Moreover, this often has to be provided in a region with a low population density. So, with less people, more work has to be done, often over great distances. Read more
